I offer Bansuri group lessons in San Jose, CA area for local students. Group lessons are held once a week every week. There is no prerequisite in terms of any prior knowledge of Bansuri or music to enroll in these lessons. Students of relatively similar skills (upto 4) are grouped in the same class.

I just know to appreciate music but don’t understand any technicality. Will you be able to teach me?
Absolutely. In fact, there is no prerequisite around any technicality or knowledge of playing Bansuri. All I expect is passion to learn music and realization that it is a long process. If you enjoy the process, you will enjoy your learning. If you have some artificial dates in mind about learning things, you are not likely to enjoy it.
I am 30 years old (or 40 or 50 or 60). Am I too old to learn a musical instrument?
Not at all – depending on your goal. As long as you learn to enjoy the learning process, age does not matter. In fact, adults enjoy it as much.
Do you offer 1:1 lessons on Skype?
At this time, I am not offering any 1:1 Skype lessons due to time constraints on my part.
Do you teach 1:1 lessons in person?
I generally discourage one off 1:1 lessons and prefer more long term learning through group lessons for my students. Having said that, for experienced students I do offer 1:1 lessons with specific objectives.
